Adik yang teristimewa...

Ha amik kau !!! Berkurun giler tak update. Otak cam beku aje nak tulis apa. Dok berkira-kira aje dalam kepala otak ni what to write tapi tak materializekan pun...Ni kes berangan jer lebihlah nih....

Bulan ni masuk bulan yang ketiga kerja kat U**KL. So far so good. Lebih banyak melahu sekarang ni sebab projek tak start lagi. Ada masa-masa ajer busy especially kalau ada presentation or demo daripada shortlisted companies. According to bos, insya Allah bulan 11 ni akan start busy lah...expected to kick off the projek. So bos cakap..relaks jelah buat masa sekarang nih...Belum ada keja lagi...Maka anak buah pun apa lagi kan bila bos sendiri dah cakap macam tu...hehheehheh. Banyak buat hal sendiri, research and explore a few new things, attended a few training, mingle around...that's about it....

But honestly, seronoklah kan....camtulah bila dah duduk kat end user..kehkehe...tak yah pening kepala sangat compared to masa buat development as vendor. Another thing, time for family lebih banyak. Before maghrib, biasanya dah ada kat rumah, spend time dengan hubby and anak-anak. Jaranglah balik lambat. Even if lambat pun, taklah sampai kul 9 lebih baru nak balik kan...Though the pay is slightly rendah daripada the previous one, it's a small matter compared to what I got in return. The benefit memang sangat jauh beza...and of courselah...the time. Sekarang ada masa untuk diri sendiri, untuk family, untuk kawan-kawan...sekian lama tak dengar tazkirah, di tempat baru ni, ada peluang untuk dengar tazkirah time bulan pose nih. Ada aktiviti keagamaan, riadah, sosial, etc...etc...So, I'm happy here !!!

On other note, adik is doing very well. She'll turn 2 next Sunday. Kejap aje masa berlalu. Rasa macam baru aje bersalinkan adik. Yeah...2 years back, on the first day of puasa, I gave birth to a special baby girl. 2 weeks earlier than the expected due date (kakak pun same case jugak, semua nak kuar awal...hehhehe). It was a smooth and fast delivery. Setengah jam dalam labour room and I'm done. Didn't know she was a special baby until the next day when dear hubby broke the news. But it didn't take me long to accept the fact and get on with life. Dia amanah Allah, special gift to us. And the rest, as they say, is history.....

And today, adik has progressed so much. Although a litle bit slow (which is expected for a Down Syndrome baby), with a lot of effort in coaching, the extra attention given, she's able to do quite a lot of things. Lets see now....

1. Can stand on her own and quite stable to be able to walk a few steps.
2. Can walk from chair to chair or places by holding on to the wall or the furniture.
3. Climb the sofa and the coffee table.
4. Call my aunty who is babysitting her "Anek" and "Didi" when she saw her daddy.
5. Loves to dance and will try to sing a long.
6. Says "mamam" when she wants to eat or sees food around.
7. Says "broom broom" when she wants to go out and take a ride in the car then will point to the door.
8. Says "boom" and pat on the pillow or mattress if she wants to lie down or sleep.
9. Sudah pandai conteng...pantang jumpa pen or pensel, habih dia conteng lantai...kena cepat cepat carikkan kertas untuk dia.
10. Loves to listen to story book especially Clifford Animal's Sound. Will try to imitate the sound of cow and bird...Tangan siap terkepak kepak lagiii...
11. Know how to kiss when we say "sayang kakak/mummy/daddy". Siap ada bunyi aummmmmmm....(Took a while jugak nak ajar dia kiss pipi sebab normally dia akan just keluarkan lidah dia and put it dekat pipi kita)
12. Can clap her hands. This one also took some time...Ada teknik nak ajar dia cara nak tepuk tangan dengan betul. The teachers dekat kiwanis showed it to us. Sekarang ni dah tau tepuk tangan, sikit sikit tepuk...Nak nak kalau after she did something, we said "pandai adik...". Dia sengih sengih sambil tepuk tangan....Tu kiranya tengah happy sesangat la tuh...
13. Can imitate apa kita buat. Kita bersin, batuk, garu kepala, gatal hidung, semua dia ikut....
14. Paling terror kembur barang. Habih semua barang dalam laci dia keluarkan and baling. So the house sudah jadik macam kena langgar garuda...Tunggang terbalik dibuatnya.
15. Knows what is the use of certain things. Bagi sikat, dia sikat rambut dia or rambut kita. Jumpa socks or shoes, dia acu kat kaki dia. Nampak phone, dia buat macam borak kat phone, try to tukar channel bila dapat pegang remote control tv. Bagi lotion or bedak kat tapak tangan, dia sapu kat muka or kaki dia....sometimes kat muka kita. Jumpa pinggan or cawan plastik, kengkonon minum or makan.
16. Dah pandai ikut kita semayang. Once kita cakap berdiri semayang...dia pun berdiri, angkat takbir...awabad..pelatlah kan..hehhehe...siap sujud lepas tu (which is meniarap...hehhehe), then duduk antara dua sujud, last sekali angkat tangan doa. Cute sangat especially bila kita pakaikan telekung kecik tu, dia pun startlah awabad....
17. Dah pandai gaduh dengan kakak....Berebut mainan....bila tak dapat, habih muka kakak kena lepuk dengan dia. Kakak sampai nak nangis tahan sakit...tangan adik debab....pukul kuat plak tuh...Maunya tak sakit. Even kalau kita yang tua ni kena kat muka pun, mau berpinar mata.

Happy sangat bila tengok dia progressed. And dia manja sangat. I mean, we all tak manjakan dia...tapi dia pandai manjakan diri dia. Nak duduk atas pangku, nak baring atas perut, kejap kejap cium pipi....tengok tv sambil bersandar kat perut daddy dia.

Adik brought lots of laughter in our family. Murah rezeki...We are so proud of Adik. Semoga in the years to come, Adik will continue to progress. We love you very much, Adik !!!
