8 Tahun sudahhhhh.....

Esok genaplah 8 tahun umur my eldest girl....How time flies !!! Kejap aje dia dah 8 tahun (mommy pun dah makin berumur....hehehe..tak nak sebut tua jugak tuh !!!)....

Teringat masa bersalinkan dia di Pusrawi (masa tu masih lagi di Jalan Ipoh), the pain started at midnight...Being a first-time mommy, wasn't really sure how the pain would be...Sekejap kejap terlelap, then terjaga bila terasa sakit...Just waited until the pain was no longer bearable, barulah kejut hubby and off we went to the hospital. Alhamdulillah, pukul 10.10 pagi my baby selamat dilahirkan....And it felt like the longest time in my life !!! Phew !!!!

She was an easy baby to take care of...Her night feed was not that frequent and the good thing was she suddenly stopped her night feed when she was 1 month old...Dekat dekat subuh baru bangun for her feed....Just nice masa untuk mommy bangun untuk bersiap pergi keja...:)

I think my late MIL was the happiest person when Dania was born...She was longing for a baby girl for a long time...Yeah !!! Hubby ada 4 beradik, semua lelaki...the cousins also all boys...same goes to the anak sedara hubby...all boys (masa tu lah kan...now that cousin baru aje dapat baby girl after 3 boys...). Saban weekend pinjam Dania bawak balik Temerloh. Dania pun tak meragam, ikut aje...Berjalan sakan aje makcik kecik tu...That time, my late MIL was still healthy, belum diagnosed with breast cancer lagi. Only during my second pregnancy that we knew about her illness...stage 4 already...Well, that's a different story already...

Since birth until now, it is my aunt that took care of Dania and all my D's...My dad's youngest isster to be exact...Kebetulan, my aunt and uncle pun takde anak sendiri...Merata they all bawak Dania berjalan, balik kampung ke Lenggong semua without mommy and daddy...Sometimes weekend pun pinjam gak kalau depa nak pi jenjalan or ada kenduri....Kalau we all balik kampung, be it Temerloh or JB lama sikit, kerap aje call tanya khabar..tanya bila nak balik KL...:). So when Dania was small, dia panggil my aunt and uncle as Atuk and Nenek while my parents are known as Atuk Johor and Nenek Johor...Ha panjang kau !!! hehehehhe...

Dania..she's friendly...cepat mesra, senang dapat kawan...Kalau bawak ke playground, tak kiralah budak kecik ke budak besar ke, Cina ke, Melayu ke, India ke, omputeh ke, semua dia sapu buat kawan...Main tegur aje, tak kira...Tapi kalau main dengan dia, macam queen control gitu...mesti nak ikut cakap dia...she must lead...Habihlah menantu aku esok !!!! heheheh...We started sending her to school before she was 4. Dia punya seronok pi sekolah, first few days dia marah kita sebab datang amik dia awal sangat, dia tak puas lagi main....First day of school, dia suruh daddy dia balik rumah, jangan tunggu dia...Adoihai !!!!

Dia juga keras kepala...ikut kepala dia aje...kalau time nak periksa, kita dah susun buku mana nak buat latihan dulu, of courselah ikut jadual periksa kan...Eh dia tak !!! Kalau dia rasa nak revise Science dulu padahal esoknya paper BM, dia tetap bukak buku Science jugak...Sometimes paper dah lepas, dia pi revise lagi sedangkan paper the next day tu tak buat lagi...Uwaaa !!! Mencabar jiwa raga betul !!!

She was never like me when I was a kid...She was out-going, out spoken, extrovert kind of person...She loves attention, kalau bab bab naik stage bercakap, dia laju aje volunteer. Nyanyi, menari, berlakon then now ni dah jadik pengawas, most of the time she would be the MC masa assembly. She just loves that. She's been practising the script as MC since she was in standard 1...Gila glamour ke apa ni kan?? hehehhe...Me on the other hand, masa kecik kecik, senyap aje...diam...reserved...Bila dah masuk sekolah menengah, barulah banyak mulut sikit..tu pun with close friends aje sampaikan orang cop sombong...padahal segan dan malu kalau tak kenal...hehhehe...

Maybe the only thing that we have in common is our love for books...She can spend hours baca buku cerita, baca komik, baca majalah, apa apa je yang boleh dibaca...Biasanya before school holidays start, mommy akan belikan dia buku cerita just to keep her occupy...which reminds me, buku cerita in BM for kids her age agak terhad...yang banyak, terlalu nipis, kejap aje baca dah settle. So I opted for novel with bigger fonts for her...Lambat sikit habih...hehehhe...Tapi cuti kali ni terlupa sangat nak belilah...dah dia merengek nak baca novel Ketika Cinta Bertasbih tu...ish !!!

Alhamdulillah, lately ni dah buleh harap dah buat keja rumah. Kemas meja makan before and after meal, basuh pinggan mangkuk, sapu sampah, mandi dan siapkan adik adik...siap pakaikan diapers and baju semua...Kiranya bila ada baby nanti, bolehlah dia tolong tengok tengokkan Dina and Dian....Kalau tak, pengsan mommy buat sorang sorang weh !!!

Anyway, like all the mommies out there yang always wish for the best for their children, I too wish the best in life for my dear girl...Jadik anak yang baik dan solehah, kakak yang boleh menjaga adik adiknya especially Dina....Always strive the best you can and always remember that we love you very very much !!!
