Konsert Tadika Dania

25 November 2006. Other school dah start cuti one week before that. Kakak still gi sekolah lagi, practising for the concert. Hari hari balik dari sekolah, dia demo apa dia dah praktis. Dia kata dia buat 2 tarian, Bhangra and Thailand. So on the day itself, we were as excited as Kakak. Kul 11 lebih dah sent her to Century Paradise Clubhouse untuk bersiap siap, before that we sent Adik to rumah my aunty dulu. Takut event lama sangat, so we decided Adik stay rumah nenek kejap. Then we went for jalan jalan kejap kat Jusco Wangsa Maju sementara tunggu kul 2. Took a light snack untuk alas perut.

Masa we all sampai, boleh tahan ramai jugaklah yang dah sampai. The ballroom was nicely decorated, with the childrens artworks and pictures taken from the childrens'school trips and activities were being put up on the soft board all around the ballroom.

Around 2 pm the concert started with the kids parading into the ballroom holding balloons yang later on dilepaskan dalam sekeliling ballroom tu. It was so sweet and beautiful...pastu nyanyi lagu NegaraKu, followed by speech from the principal, then the certificates were given out to each student. Letih wooo tunggu turn Kakak amik her certificate. Rasanya lebih seratus student coz combined 3 centres...then semua classes amik certificate. Cumanya those yang 6 years old ada pakai jubah macam kita konvo tu....Lepas semua kids dapat their certificate, barulah konsert start.

Finally !!! They were so cute with their costumes. The theme was Alice in Wonderland where Alice travel around the world and experienced different cultures and dances. So there were Arabic, Japan, Thailand, Africa, Hawaii, Malaysia and a few others. Meriah betul !!! Yang buat audience tergelak tu bila dengar the kids counting their steps as they danced. So we all dengarlah diaorang sebut one, two, three, four sambil menari...ada masa-masa suara mengira tu lagi kuat daripada bunyi muzik...Comel sangat!!!

We waited eagerly for Kakak's turn. Nasib baik we all dapat table yang betul betul along the walkway. So nampaklah the kids kuar masuk and ready to perform. Memula sekali she performed the Thailand dance, dengan pakai kuku palsu yang panjang melentik tu then the baju berkemban. Agaknyer Kakak tak duduk diam or teacher tak pakaikan betul-betul, baju Kakak terlondeh sikit..heheeh..dah ler dia depan sekali....But she got her steps right and so did the others. The other dance was the Bhangra dance. yang ni memang rancak. So Kakak pun kemain lagi henjut lagi atas pentas. She really enjoyed herself.

Around 6 barulah konsert habih. By that time, food pun dah selamat jalan. Tak cukup beb !!! Sib baiklah dapat rasa sikit mee and some kuih. Towards the end tu, orang makin ramai dalam ballroom tu. Memang agak pack lah. Tu yang food pun tak cukup agaknyer...Guests datang more than the tickets issued. Then ramai gak yang datang bawak anak-anak lain. Rasanya this year kena carik tempat besar lagi sikit lah kot to accomodate all the parents and anak-anak. One more thing, the stage tu kureng sesway....sama level dengan mata audience aje. So bila audience duduk tapi nya ramai parents yang pergi ke depan to take photos or videos of the kids, kami yang duduk ni dah tak nampak sangat, blocking....Maybe next time the teachers or event management boleh take this into account. As for me and hubby, we just snapped a few photos of Kakak, then just order the CVD of the concert yang handled by the event management.

Overall, it was fun and exciting watching the kids's performance. Cute and kelakar....So kakak ada lagi 2 tahun in the pre-school. So 2 more concerts to go....Oh ya !!! Balik rumah my aunty nak amik Adik, tengok Adik dah pakai subang. Lah..Dah bertindik dah budak kenit comey sorang nih..Hehehhe...Makcik cakap kesian Adik tak jenjalan kemana, pakcik and makcik bawak dia jalan Carrefour. Terus tindikkan sekali telinganya. So now both Kakak and Adik dah bertindik....:D
